Yasrine Ibnyahya, Director, Advanced Concepts and Technologies, Inmarsat, is responsible for creating and leading technology innovation since joining the company in 2011

Inmarsat is the world leader in global, mobile satellite communications.

Today, Yasrine is responsible for leading breakthrough innovations and early stage mission concepts. She also leads the company’s start-ups and entrepreneurship engagement initiatives.

Before Inmarsat, Yasrine spent three years at satellite manufacturer SSTL, UK as a project manager, responsible for the design and manufacturing of a 3-Tons geostationary telecommunication satellite.

She also worked for two years in Washington DC, USA at the French National Space Centre subsidiary, CLS. There, she was in charge of developing user terminals for the maritime and environmental markets.

Yasrine graduated from University of Cambridge, UK where she obtained in 2018 an Executive MBA degree. She also holds two Masters of Science respectively from University of Bristol, UK in Communication Systems and Signal Processing; and from École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, in France where she obtained her Telecommunications Engineering degree.

Yasrine is a judge and mentor for start-ups as well as an ambassador for diversity.
