SPRINT has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Satellite Applications Catapult to accelerate growth in the UK space sector.
Through the two organisations’ respective space innovation focused programmes, Satellite Applications Catapult will work with SPRINT to support the commercialisation of research, expertise and facilities. This support will enable UK companies to grow their businesses, and to commercially exploit space data and technologies to develop and bring innovative new products to market.
Satellite Applications Catapult, based in Harwell, Oxfordshire, also leads a UK-wide network of Centres of Excellence (CoE), supporting technology and innovation companies with the aim of driving regional economic growth through the commercialisation of space innovation. Combining the Catapult CoE network with SPRINT support will ensure that companies from across the UK can benefit from this new partnership.
