AIR BEARING TEST FACILITIES

The Surrey Space Centre is a world leading Centre of Excellence in Space Engineering. Our strategy is to underpin the technical development of the space industry through advanced research programmes. The SSC makes use of a number of air bearing test facilities to model the micro-gravity space environment for testing of spacecraft navigation and control systems: Falcon (Micro-Porous Carbon Table) and Eagle (Granite table).
