Ann is the National SPRINT Innovation Manager and will be working with the Associate Member Universities to oversee collaborative opportunities for both upstream and downstream Space technologies.

Ann has supported Research and Innovation in the HEI sector since 2012 and has worked at Leeds, Portsmouth, Surrey, and York St John Universities during this time. 

As a Knowledge Exchange professional Ann has developed and enabled a wide range of Space related research and innovation linked to in-space robotics, data and AI for real time space situational awareness, digital twins to enable better robotic manipulation for in orbit services, and AI for autonomous vehicles. Previously Ann has supported research centred around data and machine learning for the manufacturing sector and also the use of big data for Climate Change adaptation.

Ann has been supporting innovation in the Space sector since 2016, first through the South Coast Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications at the University of Portsmouth and then at the University of Surrey in the Surrey Space Centre.
