We are a team of academic scholars, roboticists and computer scientists. It is our mission to build on the Surrey Space Centre (SSC) heritage of 'small-sat' engineering approach and extend this philosophy to advance autonomous systems and robotics for space.

Our expertise: Autonomy & modelling; Visual navigation; Modern control; Biomimetic mechanisms with applications in space; Nuclear; Agriculture. Our key technologies: Domain-reconfigurable mission planning; Internet of space things (IoST); Space metrology & navigation; Low-energy drilling under low gravity; Single-actuator slew or attitude control. Our robotics facilities offer: “Dusty” robotics laboratory, “Clean” robotics laboratory and Reconfigurable orbital robotics testbed.
